Denton County Reports Fifth West Nile Virus Human Case

텍사스주 덴턴카운티 공중보건국(DCPH)은 9월 10일 올해 카운티에서 웨스트나일바이러스(WNV) 사람 감염이 다섯 번째로 확인됐다고 밝혔다. 환자는 덴턴카운티 비법인 지역 남동부에 거주하며 웨스트나일바이러스 신경침습성 질환 진단을 받았다. 보건국은 환자 정보 보호를 위해 더 이상의 개인 정보는 공개하지 않겠다고 했다. 후안 로드리게스 부국장 겸 수석 역학자는 확진자 5명과 카운티 내 WNV 모기의 지속적인 활동을 언급하며 감염 위험이 계속되고 있다고 밝혔다.
