시애틀, 우기 산사태 대비 배수로·경사지 점검 당부
시애틀 건설검사국(SDCI)은 11월 3일 겨울 우기를 앞두고 배수시설과 경사지를 점검하라고 당부했다. 시는 산사태가 주로 11월부터 3월 사이 발생하며 물이나 경사면을 불안정하게 만드는 활동이 주요 원인이 된다고 설명했다. 산사태 피해로 즉각적인 안전 우려가 있으면 현장을 벗어나 911에 신고하도록 안내했다.
