포틀랜드 일대 25일 새벽 최대 45마일 돌풍, 강풍주의보
오리건주 포틀랜드 지역과 워싱턴주 클라크카운티 일부에 강풍주의보가 내려졌다. 국립기상청(NWS) 포틀랜드 사무소는 24일 오후 6시(태평양 일광절약시간)에 주의보를 발령했으며, 25일 오전 11시까지 유효하다고 밝혔다. 바람이 강하게 부는 시간은 금요일인 25일 오전 3시부터 11시까지다. 남풍이 시속 15~25마일로 불고 순간 돌풍은 최대 45마일에 이를 것으로 예보됐다. 기상청은 고정되지 않은 물건이 날리고 나뭇가지가 부러질 수 있으며 일부 지역에서 정전이 발생할 수 있다고 밝혔다. 나무에 잎이 무성해 평소보다 약한 바람에도 나무나 가지가 피해를 입을 수 있다고 덧붙였다.
