워싱턴주 어류야생동물국(WDFW)은 퓨젓사운드 일부 해역의 겨울 게잡이를 10월1일부터 12월31일까지 매일 허용한다고 밝혔다. 열리는 곳은 해양구역 4(보닐라-타투시 선 동쪽)·5·6·7(샌후안 제도 남북)·9와, 후드 커낼(12구역) 중 에이억 포인트 북쪽 해역이다. 시애틀·브레머튼 일대(10구역)와 타코마·배숀섬 일대(11구역)는 여름철 어획 할당량이 얼마 남지 않아 바로 열리지 않는다. 8-1·8-2구역은 껍질이 무른 게가 우려돼 개장이 늦춰지고, 남부 퓨젓사운드(13구역)와 에이억 포인트 남쪽 후드 커낼은 계속 닫힌다. 여름 게잡이 기록 카드는 10월1일까지 내야 한다.
