WA 개인 건강보험료 2027년 평균 22% 인상
워싱턴주 보험청(OIC)은 2027년도 개인 건강보험 마켓플레이스(Exchange) 요율을 평균 22.2% 인상하도록 승인했다고 9월9일 밝혔다. 보험사들은 평균 22.4% 인상을 요청했고 그중 22.2%가 승인됐으며, 내년에는 12개 보험사가 개인 보험을 판매한다(올해 14개에서 감소). OIC는 의료기관의 진료비·약값 인상, 가입자의 의료서비스 이용 증가, 시장을 떠나는 가입자들이 대체로 더 건강해 남은 가입자의 평균 의료비가 오르는 현상, 연방 보험료 보조금(Enhanced Premium Tax Credits) 만료로 건강한 가입자들이 추가로 이탈하는 현상 등 네 가지를 인상 배경으로 꼽았다. 이 보조금은 그동안 가입자의 연평균 보험료를 1330달러 낮춰왔다.
