Action: Rescinds biotoxin-related closure of public shellfish beaches in Dabob and Quilcene bays and at Belfair State Park; and opens oyster harvest at Point Whitney Tidelands and Lagoon. Maintains other previously announced shellfish beach closures in marine areas 9 (Admiralty Inlet) and 12 (Hood Canal). Effective dates: Sept. 3, 2026, until further notice. 후드 운하 다보브·퀼센 만 조개류 채취 일부 재개
워싱턴주 어류야생동물국(WDFW)은 후드 운하(해양구역 12)의 다보브만·퀼센만 공공 갯벌과 벨페어 주립공원에 내렸던 생물독소 관련 채취 금지를 9월 3일부터 해제했다. 포인트 휘트니 갯벌과 라군은 9월 30일까지 굴 채취가 가능하며, 조개 채취는 계속 금지된다. 워싱턴주 보건부(DOH)의 금지 조치는 다보브만·퀼센만의 버터클램과 바니시클램에 그대로 적용되고, 마닐라조개와 태평양굴은 안전하다고 국은 밝혔다. 애드미럴티 인렛(해양구역 9)에서 폴웨더 블러프와 올레레 포인트를 잇는 선 남쪽의 모든 공공 갯벌과 해양구역 12의 나머지 공공 갯벌은 채취 금지가 유지된다. 이번 조치는 별도 공지가 있을 때까지 적용된다.
